A) What is the Compton Care Lottery and how it works

Compton Care Lottery Ltd (referred to as Compton Care Lottery or the Lottery) operates a weekly society lottery.

  • Each entry into the weekly draw costs £1.00.
  • To enter the weekly draw on a subscription (ongoing) basis, you must complete a Compton Care Lottery application online, by post, face‑to‑face, or by telephone.
  • Once your application has been processed, you will be allocated a unique lottery number(s). Your lottery number(s) will remain allocated to you until your play is cancelled or your credit expires.
  • The maximum number of entries permitted per person per week is 10 entries, at a cost of £10 per week or £520 per year.
  • Only lottery numbers paid for in advance will be entered into the weekly draw.
  • Weekly draws normally take place on Fridays. Results are usually available from 2pm onwards on the Compton Care website and are displayed in open Compton Care charity shops.
  • Compton Care Lottery Ltd reserves the right, subject to Bank Holidays or unforeseen circumstances, to change draw dates or publication times, or to suspend the Lottery where necessary.
